Please understand that this is a slightly older property, however it has been very well maintained over the years. It is physically connected to an IHG Holiday Inn, and between the 2 properties there are ample dining options. The studio room we had was excellent! And had everything we needed for our stay - fridge, microwave, utensils , etc. plus, the room was bigger with a small dining area, desk, reclining chair and even a walk-in closet! When we visit Costa Rica again this hotel is on our list to stay at again!

The staff was great. Patio slider did not work well. Had to change rooms afternoon before checkout as our door lock failed to work after three different days of not working and to get staff to open our door. The breakfast did not meet our expectations. Eggs were fake scrambled and dry no flavor. Lack of choices.

There were many dining options literally within 3-5 min walk. The atmosphere was calm and the installations (pool and green area were beautiful). A cozy hideaway so close to San Jose was hard to believe, but it is true and loved it. Will stay there again in near future.
