Family friendly Hotels in San Isidro de El General, San José Province

"Room was comfortable. No view from room. Pretty area with gardens around walkways. Not a lot of outside seating areas. Most rooms are a walk uphill a ways. Not many have close parking. Trails uphill behind resort. 4x4 drive to upper parking was in good shape and looked good enough for 2 wheel when dry. Dining was fine, with good service. Trout was good, though I think it was better for lunch up the road at the next cafe. Bar area has seating and fire. Happy hour 3-5. The resort seems to do a lot of large bus groups. Dining room was full with 4 tables of 10-15 people and just a handful of couples at other tables."

"Stay was amazing. The views do NOT get any better than this. It’s not the most modern but it’s better than some 5 star places I’ve stayed. And I travel a lot. Highly recommend and definitely get a 4x4. "
