The fridge smelled bad and there was a bunch of hair in the toilet that was stuck.

Location is PERFECT- It felt really safe and lots of food places within walking distance. Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and Japantown are a decent $7-12 Uber ride away. Big Bus tour (I recommend!) pick up/drop off point is a close walk away.
Parking is limited but the couple days we took the car out, we were able to get a parking spot when we got back. We also arrived late (9pm) on the first night and there was parking available.
Rooms are clean, housekeepers are friendly and location is pretty quiet (only could hear the occasional car speeding by).
But the most memorable part of our stay was the front desk girl (I wish I got her name!!) She was SUPER friendly and really helpful with tips and must see places .... She made a lasting impression on us and are grateful to have had her as part of first trip to SF.
I'll be sure to stay here for all future trips and recommend it to all my family and friends!

This is a wonderful, budget friendly place to stay for the night! It’s walking distance from so many things and the staff was incredible! We’re traveling with a u haul and trailer and they were kind enough to help us out with parking and accommodated everything we needed. 10/10 experience!!

The parking is limited. That is not good.
