Very clean, great attached cafe, great laundry room, safe parking, helpful staff, beautiful lobby. Only downside is that it is on the edge of SF's redlight district called "The Tenderloin". Some of the nonsense spills over to this area but it's manageable.

Very clean room. I wouldn’t say I felt safe with the area around the hotel but it is SF. Very interesting design. Very confusing The restaurant is so expensive. I ordered a Sprite to take to my room and it was $7.50

The room was spacious and clean! Bedding was very nice and comfortable. The location was central and close to the Opera House which was the reason for our visit. We did have a hard time finding a restaurant close by after the performance and ended up eating next door to the hotel at Mel's. Not exactly a meal to remember but it honestly wasn't bad. Parking garage was very convenient and dare I say affordable at $49 with in/out priledges. I would definitely stay at the Courtyard location again!
