Amazing stay
Posted 8 Sep 2024 on HotelsI thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at the Orso Grigio including the wine tasting and guided hike with Franz.
Thank you for making me feel like a queen with all the luxurious touches. I was even picked up from and dropped off at the train station and given a transport pass for the duration of my stay.

Excellent property. Staff was wonderful specially the front desk and the restaurant staff. A real gem.

Es un pueblo pequeñito pero acogedor., muy bueno para descansar pues es muy tranquilo queda cómo 25 min del pueblo de Cortina de Ampezzo. Si quiere más actividad pues no es el lugar. El personal excelente y con muchos detalles.

There are no words that can be enough to describe our stay here. Everything was excellent !!!!!
First let start with San Candido, a town out of a story book. And in the middle is this hotel. We met the owner Frantz, who is everyday there greeting and make sure you have a great stay.
Rooms are impeccable and very comfortable.
The staff is very friendly and professional and they are willing to help you with anything you need.
Breakfast is superb. Very nice ambience, great selection and abundant.
They include the renting of bicycles and we used them to ride 40 miles to Leinz in Austria. This ia a must do.
Very close to all the mountain attractions.
We will definitely come back.

Nice but noisy.
Posted 1 Aug 2021 on HotelsA great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, particularly the owner who comes around at mealtimes to chat to the guests. The hotel is on the main square in the town and this makes it extremely noisy until the early hours of the morning. Deliveries for the nearby businesses and street cleaning are in full flow by 5am so this is a very noisy place to stay! And by noisy, I mean deafeningly loud. It is not the hotel's fault, but because it was hot and they have no air conditioning or portable electric fans, you have to keep the windows open... so don't expect a good night's sleep in the summer, unfortunately. There is a Tesla supercharger and free parking onsite which is very convenient.

This place is awesome. 4.3 rating is very underrated!!! The breakfast is the best in my life, the staff is nice, there are sauna....etc. Everything is just perfect for a relaxing holiday.

A nice hotel
Posted 5 Aug 2018 on HotelsThe hotel is nice. Our room was clean, the service was good and the staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in the center of the town in the pedestals area. We stayed at the hotel for one night while we were traveling in the Dolomites area on our way to Austria and it served our needs well. The only problem is that after 9:00 PM no restaurants in the area are open.

This was a wonderful hotel, located right in the pedestrian zone on the main piazza of San Candido. The management and employees were all wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I got terribly ill while here and they arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel and also brought food up to my room for my child and me. I am so grateful to them for their help. The restaurant was lovely and they serve a large, locally-sourced buffet breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
