Posted 2 Aug 2024 on HotelsThe weather was very hot and the air conditioner in the room was struggling, but we managed OK. Breakfast is very nice for 12 Euro, and the pool was welcome in the hot weather, but for some strange reason you have to wear a cap in the pool. I have not experienced this anywhere in the world before.

Excellent customer service, very comfortable family room (lovely beds) and a very good ethos of sustainability. Best for those by car, but also accessible from nearby rail station via an underpass.

When we discovered that the elevator did no go directly to the floor our room was on, we asked to be moved. We were told that we had booked the cheapest room in the hotel and if we wanted to move we had to pay about 30% more. When we booked,we were not told any of this, so I consider it a bait and switch. Also, the hotel is large, but seemed fairly empty. So they could easily have been more accommodating. The staff was unfriendly and made it feel like they were doing us a favor. The A/C went off in the middle of the night so the room was airless. The internet seemed to drop out frequently. The surrounding area is semi industrial, and very uninviting. The property was very nice. My son loved the swimming pool. The breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone.
