Good family friendly hotel, lovely staff and great food and drink in the all inclusive option. The children’s buffet in the main restaurant is a nice touch and the snack bar is great for feeding hungry little ones throughout the day.

Great place to stay

This resort and room exceeded our expectations. Everything is great including location (unless you want to be in the busy downtown). The only problem is parking as there is no dedicated parking. Would stay again for sure!

While I appreciated that it was a 'family' hotel, I would have preferred that one of the three pools available was adult-only. The exercise classes (and their 'leaders') were great, the table-waiting and cleaning staff were fabulous, and the food available was always excellent.

Very busy hotel. More than we expected. The beach on the photos does not refer to the hotel as it’s public and nearby beach was rocky. The swimming pool was packed. The restaurant and food were beyond expectations. Brilliant choice and delicious food. Not sure if I’d stay for 1-2 weeks holiday in this property period, but 1 night stay over was fine. Thank you

Very family orientated. Entertainment was excellent. Room maintenance was very efficient when there was an issue. Negative aspect, dietary requirements of gluten and lactose intolerance, no choice cf fresh cakes or pastries available.

Great for kids and parents. My 3 year old loved it. Room were spacious , the mattress weird. No conditionner just shampoo. They could have nespresso machine instead of instant coffee and their mini fridge is not cold if you plan on keeping milk for your toddler, had to use a cooler w ice. They got free apples at reception and there’s a grocery store 2 min walking distance.

My mum and I had a fantastic time on our winter break at Gruptoel Orquieda. The staff we encountered were wonderful and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a sea view room. There were plenty of amenities for adults available. Lots of choices at the buffet. Only improvement, could be the showerheard quality as you were unable to change its setting and it has a "fire hose spray" feel to it. The beach was so peaceful and quiet and there were plenty of sunbeds available with sea views! Overall and incredible experience!

We came to this hotel not very happy because we had to pay for my 2 kids which I was told where not in my reservation although when i did my booking I put my 2 kids and their age Expedia told me I didn’t put them. It’s wasn’t true but because I had no time to check for any other place I had to pay 490€ extra. So i went to this hotel not very happy, but for my greatest surprise we had a wonderful time in the hotel, everyone was so good in their mansion my kids enjoyed every day of their stay in this hotel. Thanks to everyone that made our stay a wow. Especially Marcus. You are a star

Excellent hotel

The hotel was very large and had a lot of facilities. There were several pools and to a decent depth. The cleaning staff, especially Inma, were all delightful and did a great job. They even let me practice my Spanish with them! The arcade was good fun and open quite late of an evening. The breakfast was varied and well-cooked. Breakfast included is a must! You get a wrist band to show the staff what you are entitled to. One of the best things about the stay was the transport links. There's a bus stop almost immediately outside the front of the hotel (1 min walk if you want to be specific). You can get to the whole island that way.

The room could be much better; there were a few cockroaches in the bathroom, and the mattress had extra padding which slipped, meaning there was risk of falling out of bed if it had moved. The facilities were good but the staff, although pleasant could have been more helpful

Holiday totally ruined. Avoid!

Beware they will try to charge ridiculous made up fees for everything. Food at the restaurant is horrible and reception staff completely arrogant and unwilling to help. AC wasn't working. Only positive aspect is the view from the room. But I would definitely not come back given the arrogance and the way I was treated which ruined my whole stay.

Very nice hotel - good food with daily variety - hygienically prepared. Excellent program for children. Only missed some variety in the evening shows. The rooms are identical to the photos, clean and tidy. Good water pressure in the shower. We received a bottle of water in the fridge, but I wish it had been refilled daily as we drank a lot of water due to the heat. However, you can get as much water as you want downstairs, but it’s easy to forget in the evening. I missed having more restrooms, as there are only four downstairs in the hotel area, and they quickly become dirty. Otherwise, the hotel appears clean and well-maintained. The pool is heated, but it was still quite cold at 22 degrees. I wish it had been a bit warmer. We traveled at the beginning of October, and despite that, the kids came out with blue lips and were shivering. There is a lot of wind here, and it can get quite noisy in the dining hall and around the activities, which take place almost every hour for either adults or children. I am satisfied with the stay, but I wouldn’t return to this hotel. It’s perfect if you have very young children or babies. The reception is open 24/7, and the staff are friendly and competent. The beach owned by the hotel isn’t suitable for swimming, as it’s full of rocks and has large waves, which left us a bit disappointed.
