The Westin San Antonio is a beautiful hotel in a prime location, but the service left much to be desired, especially for the price.
When we arrived, no one helped us with our six bags, no one opened the door, and no one greeted us. Instead, we were met with a long line of about ten people waiting to check in, and still, not a single staff member acknowledged us.
The room and hotel itself were lovely, but the service was disappointing. Breakfast the next morning was a complete disaster. The restaurant was chaotic, with guests confused about how the seating worked. After waiting 30 minutes and having to find someone ourselves, they scribbled our name down on a napkin and told us the wait would be an hour and a half. When we finally got seated, everything felt rushed, and while the food was okay, it was definitely overpriced.
For $500 a night—or even $300—you’d expect much better customer service. The hotel’s beauty can’t make up for its lackluster service and attention to detail.

Great overall experience!! The hotel does not offer a free parking space so there is the added cost of parking if choosing this hotel
