These was a nice place to stay. Room was smaller then expected, but the features of the hotel was more then accomodating. Will visit again.

The Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk is close to I-35, the Alamodome and within a block of the river walk in downtown San Antonio. Make note that your Expedia reservation does not include taxes and fees; those will be charged at the time of check out. Parking is extra - at the time it was $15 per night if booked on Expedia - $45 per night if booked at the hotel. We booked a room with two double beds. The mattresses were older and worn, with noticeable sagging in the middle. It wasn't comfortable to sleep two adults. The HVAC in the room wasn't working and would only blow continuous cold air. It took two trips to the front desk before the temperature was manually reset remotely (at 1 AM). The beds do not have blankets - just a sheet and a top sheet. Thankfully I had blankets in the car and was provided with light blankets at the front desk. Even on the 15th floor, the hotel is very loud, with significant road noise from I-35. In total, we paid about $400 per night and left after the first night because it was so uncomfortable.

This is a nice place to stay, the bar is pricey and when we were there close to closing they were understaffed. Our waitress was busy but very kind and professional. My only complaint is I thought the rooms were bland and in need of a facelift.
