The hotel locks its doors due to the area, you have to knock to get in, but there were many times we were left waiting for 5 minutes to get in. The staff are then rude about it. The staff for the most part were very rude. Could never make breakfast because it was suppose to close at 9am, but youd be lucky to see anyone or food after 8:20am. Never will return.

Do not recommend this hotel. No hot water in the shower, paper thin walls, no ‘free’ shuttles as listed on website, pool bar not open, not centrally located. Best thing was the front desk staff. I feel bad they had to work there.

WIFI service needs to happen in all rooms for people to want to stay! Cannot have in just lobby. It’s very slow too. Staff and locals nice, area is very island and local, and was surprised though to have hot water. Overall it’s nice for a cottage type island vacation

We like almost everything from the hotel. Perhaps, they will need more amusement site for children. The WiFi service it is only in the lobby. We don't like the food, because, they did not have all the inputs and the food was not good.

Nice place but away from the action

It was a nice place in a reasonably quiet neighborhood. It has security and safety lick boxes. Most staff speaks English. Amazingly, English is the native language here. However, Spanish is most prevalent. The included breakfast is simple, but decent. Rooms clean. The air and tv worked fine. Only could get wifi at the reception area. Nice place but a little far from the tourist action.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. In the slum of the town, no other guests to be seen, room did not have hot water or light bulbs. Air conditioning stopped working. I was charged more that stated rate on Expedia. Would remove this hotel from your site.

We want to thank you for your comments about our Isla Bonita hotel, which encourages us to improve and work every day to provide better travel experiences to our clients, respecting them if we must respectfully make certain corrections because we consider them very strong. You mention that the hotel is located in a poor neighborhood of the city and the reality is that the island does not have in itself a social division between rich and poor neighborhoods. San Andres is an island of only 24 Km2 whose inhabitants intermingle in the same , without any real difference in their economic capacities, all inhabitants are simple and humble people, not imposing on the island a social difference of classes as you want to note, the hotel is located in the center of the island in the traditional sector of San Luis in the middle of the best beach sectors that San Andres has; Sound Bay Field, Rocky Cay and Genny Bay; We regret the fact that the hot water was not available in your shower but we also did not show in our log of requests that you report problems with the hot water in your shower as we did not show a report of problems with the air conditioning of your room, about the fee that is adduced is charged more, it corresponds to the hotel insurance that is not included in the rate of any of the platforms and is of a governmental nature that corresponds to U $ D 1.70 per night per passenger. About your request to remove our hotel from the platform of Expedia we invite you to review the comments of other guests who have had the opportunity to leave on us, we think that your requirement is based on a dissatisfaction of your trip outside of We and his comments are vitiated by external frustration because he reviews things as illogical as the rooms did not have light bulbs or that there were no guests in the hotel
