When we arrived at 8 pm the hotel was closed and we could not enter. We were forced to get a different hotel and did not get a refund. Terrible.

Simple and basic
The weather was great. The host of hotel was verr helpful and kind. The hotel is smiple and basic. Rooms are clean and very basic. The car park is diffcult to park. Taxis passing through the road was very challanging. We had to pay to the chairs on the beach 10€ per chair per dat and that was not expected.

Seaside Paradise
Fantastic location, amazing hospitality, gorgeous accommodations. We came because the reviews sing praises of Katerina and Renee's hospitality (they are, if anything, understatements!!) but we didn't realize what a wonderful location we had chosen. Hotel Cattleya commands an excellent view of Kokkari. It is literally steps away from seaside restaurants, and a 2 minute walk to Kokkari's magnificent beach, where you can have a massage with sea views. Our balcony at sunset was a sight to behold, with its view of the scenic port, the mountains, and of course the stunning sunset over the Aegean. Breakfast on the patio with Renee and Katerina was the height of service, taste, and style. Katerina gave us excellent recommendations that sustained us for the rest of our trip to Samos (visit Manolates, the Seitani beaches, and AAA Restaurant). Renee welcomed us warmly, and is the kindest soul you will ever meet. We hope to visit again soon!!!!

Best Boutique hotel
Cattleya is the best boutique hotel we have stayed. Renee is the best host and Katerina is her delightfully cheerful and capable assistant. The rooms are aesthetically traditional with sweeping views of the Aegean and specifically the picturesque Kokkori harbour. Daily breakfasts were individually crafted by Renee and beautifully presented by Katerina and delicious to the last crumb. You will definitely be pampered and will enjoy every minute of your stay. However the best proof of the popularity of this hotel is the large number of regular guests. We are looking forward to our next stay.

This is a small 10 ~12 room hotel. Service is excellent and very personalized. The rooms have amazing sea view. The location is quite good, in close proximity of a nice beach and restaurants. However, you have to climb a lot of stairs to get to the hotel. Nevertheless, 4-star rating in hotels.com is misleading. It should be listed as no star rating since it doesn't comply with any of the star ratings. The room is very basic with almost no amenities.

Wonderful hotel with lots of personal touches
We had a fantastic experience at this gorgeous hotel! A surprise breakfast every morning was provided by our very gracious hostesses Renee and Katerina. So many personal touches, and everything prepared with love and attention to detail. I highly recommend and will stay there again. Loved it!!

Simply Amazing
We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Cattleya in August 2017 and it was fantastic. Renee and Katarina are charming hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are great, with aircon and balcony - ours was overlooking the sea which was beautiful. Location couldn't be better - a few minutes to Kokkari centre. We will 100% be back next year. Can't wait! Thanks again for making our stay so wonderful.

Words and photos just don't do it justice!
Hotel Cattleya is an incredible place to stay! From the initial reservation enquiry all the way to arriving Katerina and Renee went above and beyond to make us feel so very, very welcome. It is located just outside of the main streets of Kokkari, but it is simply walking distance to the main platia (square) and also to the most incredible private beach! To go along with the breathtaking views the service and hospitality we experienced was phenomenal. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and will return in a heartbeat. Everything from the layout, to the cleanliness, to the views from the rooms is stellar. The breakfast that is provided is amazing! Delicious, different everyday and simply divine; giving hotel guests a true taste of Samos and broader Greece. Cannot wait to go back!

You won't regret this choice!
What a gem we found here in Samos on our honeymoon in Greece! Kokkari itself is a great place to stay in Samos. Easy to walk everywhere, good food and beautiful beaches. And Hotel Cattelya is perfectly positioned to ensure that each room offers picture-perfect views of the entire town and it's picturesque sunrises and sunsets. Most importantly, you will not find more hospitable hosts than Renee and Catarina. Come for the views, but stay for the outstanding service. From the incredibly comfortable beds, to the amazing traditional home-made breakfasts and everything in between - we felt right at home at Hotel Cattelya. Renee and Catarina are lovely to chat with, well informed about the area, and have great recommendations for things to do and see on the island. Not to mention, Renee is a smart, successful and inspiring business women that we loved getting to know and getting both business and life advice from! We hope to return to Samos one day and when we do it will definitely be to Cattelya!

Nice hotel close to the beach
We stayed a week at the hotel Cattleya. We could have had a better boutique hotel to stay at. Room with a brilliant view over the bay of Kookari. The level of comfort and cleanliness of the room was excellent too. Breakfast had variety and excellent service. Be prepared to pay in addition taxi costs and there is a steep walk into town.

The hotel is in a great location, near the beach and looking down over the town. The public areas of the hotel are beautifully kep, stylish and well looked after, and our room was immaculately clean, and kept so during our stay. Renee, our host, is attentive, gregarious and helpful. Her staff are equally helpful, polite and friendly. We love the small size of the hotel, with its intimacy and homely atmosphere. Cattleya proves a great base for an excellent holiday
