"Only negative comment would be the small space available for where bed has to be located with low ceiling on the inside half. We didn’t feel like sleeping in the double bed during our stay because of this especially in the hot weather. It felt too stuffy and the person who ends up on the inside May feel slightly trapped. "We had an amazing stay in Belgium. Daniellle our host was sweet and welcoming. We stayed in the Gite Atelier and it felt as if we were at home. We travelled from the U.K. to the property, which is located centrally and the property is close to the airport near Charleroi which made it easy to collect my parents from. "The hotel is in a really quiet neighborhood, and we loved the view of the farms from our balcony — it was peaceful and calming. Our room was spacious, and the beds were super comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing. If I had to point out one thing, it’s that the room could use a few more little touches. The hotel has kind of a big, concrete feel with high ceilings, so some artwork or cozy decor would definitely make it feel more inviting and homey. Parking was easy too — plenty of space right outside, which was great."

"This is a very nice and cosy boutique hôtel close the city center, at the bottom of the famous Citadelle. Rooms are very comfortable (decoration style is bold… you like it or not) and the real cherry on the cake is an excellent and affordable restaurant on site. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It was not my first time there and it won’t be the last."
