"The hotel is amazing, the location is key, ski-in-and-out. Right next to Ruka Ski Resort Gondola. The room assigned to me was clean, very charming and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, nice winter blankets, and soft pillows. Breakfast was included and it is a massive buffet with healthy options. I loved the food and the service. There are restaurants, shopping stores, and tour agencies all within walking distance. Also the bus stop to the airport is a 4 minute walk. I would come back to this...

"24h service, warm accomodation with good parking, views and everything you need nearby. Highly recommended. Rent your own car to be more flexible in your adventure. Driving in winter also was not a problem at all. All roads are well maintained with good access to all the highlights around kuusamo and Ruka. Will book again."

"Our stay was exactly what my fiancé and I were hoping for! The room had absolutely everything needed for a ski trip. It had a spectacular view with both a hot tub and sauna. It was spacious, equipped with all the kitchen necessities, and was close to the rentals and gondola. Not too mention all the nearby restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay."

"We stayed in Glass Villas - view was amazing, everything was really nice. I would have liked a proper double bed, but the two beds that were pushed together were also comfortable. Ventilation made quite a lot of noise, but it also meant that we could adjust the temperature as we liked. I would definitely stay there again."

"Die Lodge selbst und die Umgebung sind unglaublich schön. Ich kenne keinen ruhigeren Ort als dort. Die Gastgeber kümmern sich rührend um einen und versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen, die Sauna wird auf Wunsch angestellt und wir hatten sie privat für uns. Die Gastgeber bieten verschiedene Aktivitäten an, von denen wir jedoch keine genutzt haben."

"We had a fab time and stayed in a lovely log cabin - was clean and perfect for two adults and a nine year old. The resort was very quiet with two places to eat that were walkable. We really enjoyed the skiing, was approx 160 euros per day for two adults and a child for equipment hire and lift passes. The only downside was that the pool and gym were quite expensive to use - 45 euros for three people to swim and 6 euros to use the gym that were both part of the hotel. "We stayed in the igloos and cooked and ate meals both in the igloo and also dinner in the restaurant. 1. Staff were amazing and lovely 2. Food and wine options for dinner and the cosy restaurant was delightful and enjoyable 3. We also cooked and ate in our igloo and the kitchen provided all the kitchen items we needed and were happy for us to drop things off to be cleaned 4. I found the igloos to be surprisingly spacious with lots of spots to store things 5. Small compostable toilet was fine...

"We stayed 3 nights at the end of May 2023 and were there to participate in the NUTS Karhunkierros ultra Trail event. The apartment was cosy, clean and calm. The only thing the owner should consider is adding some light-blocking curtains to the bedrooms. There is no night in Ruka at this time of the year and it’s very difficult to get a good sleep in a bedroom with daylight conditions. Otherwise all good."
