"We had an amazing time over Christmas 2023. The villa is modern with all expected facilities and more(impressive pantry contents provided), the sauna and Hot tub were used frequently with views outside that you would only imagine on a Christmas postcard. Kimmo(owner) was excellent throughout our stay and was always available to answer questions. Nearest supermarket is 10-15 minutes away and includes a store where you can buy alcoholic drinks. "We stayed 3 nights at the end of May 2023 and were there to participate in the NUTS Karhunkierros ultra Trail event. The apartment was cosy, clean and calm. The only thing the owner should consider is adding some light-blocking curtains to the bedrooms. There is no night in Ruka at this time of the year and it’s very difficult to get a good sleep in a bedroom with daylight conditions. Otherwise all good."
