The inn and host Heidi are wonderful!

I stayed here in lieu of a hotel room in Salisbury for a work trip and it was worth the drive, only about 20 minutes from Salisbury. Heidi is extremely hospitable, her breakfast is excellent, including authentic English tea. It was very quiet, air conditioning worked amazingly well considering this is an old home, c 1800’s. The decor is adorable. The town is quite charming. Heidi made dining recommendations and did her utmost to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. My only regret is I couldn’t stay longer on Sunday am when I departed, to savor and enjoy her wonderful breakfast!

What a delightful stay in this charming B&B on the E shore of Maryland. Thank you to a simply perfect host, Heidi. Excellent communication, greeting. The home is a labor of love, with a British feel and many personal touches. Very comfortable king bed, perfect big claw tooth bathtub (appreciated after a 100 mile bike ride) and coffee/tea available, as well as thoughtful snacks. Looking forward to staying next year.

Home Away From Home I had the pleasure of staying at Heidi’s property for three lovely nights in July. From the moment I stepped into her foyer I felt welcomed, comfortable and safe. I stayed in the Robert Louis Stevenson room- It was absolutely perfect! Breakfasts were amazing and delicious, lots of friendly conversations, books everywhere which was so fun and Heidi offered great tips for the local area. As a solo traveler, I always appreciate, feeling safe and getting to meet some very enjoyable people when I travel and staying at Book Lovers Club Inn was a wonderful experience - I am looking forward to staying again when I’m in the area!

Heidi is the most attentive host we have ever stayed with. You can tell she runs the Bed and Breakfast with her heart and cares that her guests have the best experience. She is very communicative from the first day we booked through check out. The home is so inviting and honestly like a page out of a book. It was a very relaxing experience staying here and we would love to return next time we visit the area. The English breakfast was a real treat as well. We haven’t experienced anything like it outside of England. After staying here, I can definitely see why this place is so highly rated. Thank you Heidi for a wonderful stay!

What a gem! Was coming to the area for a wedding and just needed a place to stay - and ended up having a lovely experience! If you want a unique, historic, and luxurious stay at a good price, look no further. The Princess Anne Book Lovers Inn has it all. Heidi was so kind and provided everything we needed. The room was gorgeous and very clean. Breakfast was amazing every day, healthy and homemade. You cant get this experience at a hotel. The library was my favorite room and i only wish i could stay longer!

This was a great place to stay for a mini weekend getaway. Not too far from the beaches and other activities. It was nice to have a quiet, comfortable place to come back to. Breakfast in the morning was a plus. Heidi, the owner, was very thoughtful and communication was easy. I would definitely come back again!

The Book Lovers Inn is amazing and Heidi is a wonderful host. The place was immaculate, cozy and convenient. We had a great conversation with Heidi and Paul at breakfast (which was delicious) before check out. They also directed us to a great little seafood place upon arrival which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely return again and again!!

Loved the quiet and safe neighborhood. Loved the library with the books and the tea room!! Loved the English breakfast that Heidi served. Loved Heidi's restaurant recommendation for dinner. My husband and I were looking for a winter weekend getaway on the eastern shore of Maryland near Salisbury. We found the Book Lovers Bed and Breakfast Inn and are so glad we did. Book Lovers Bed and Breakfast is charming, cozy and relaxing. Heidi, the proprietor is an absolute delight and wants her guests to enjoy their stay. Our stay was exactly what we were looking for. The Inn dates back to the late 1800’s and has all the details and charm lovingly restored. The Inn pays homage to historic writers and as book lovers, we were in heaven. We stayed in the Jane Austen room that is spacious and romantic. There are plenty of towels, all sorts of toiletries to include eye make-up remover, and delicious chocolates. Our bed was so comfortable we did not want to get up the next morning. The Inn is spotlessly clean. For breakfast we had an option of an American or English breakfast. We opted for the English breakfast and it was delicious and filling. Orange juice in lovely flutes, bacon, eggs, beans, toast and jam. Not to mention a wide selection of teas and coffee. We had a lovely conversation with Heidi. Heidi is so warm that when you talk with her you feel like you have known her for a long time. We look forward to going back to the Book Lovers Bed and Breakfast Inn soon. Heidi wants to make her guests feel happy and comfortable. Every aspect of our stay reflected this.
