We love the Amigo motor Inn! Friendly staff, nice facilities and amenities! They also have great coffee. It is a go to when traveling to Salida!

Was really fun staying in the Airstream PeeWee!! Be nice to have a bathroom but i got used to it and the trailer was AWESOME!

Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us. If other guests or staff of the property make you feel uneasy or threatened it is important that we are made aware. We do not allow our staff to open-carry or conceal-carry firearms on the premises. We were aware of a guest open-carrying while staying with us. Unfortunately with Colorado's open carry laws, we cannot force a guest to store their firearm or to leave the property without cause. Had we known you were unhappy with their display and that was your reason for leaving, we would have handled it directly with the other guest. We contacted Expedia to push a full refund for your stay prior to this review. We hope you'll give us another chance.

Old-style hotel fixed up very nicely.
Management worked with us and even changed rooms to make us more comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at the Amigo Motor Lodge last weekend and had a mostly pleasant experience. We loved that it’s pet-friendly, and the decor was absolutely charming. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which we appreciated.
However, there were a few downsides: the bathroom fan was broken, the TV didn’t have channel access, and we found some trash left behind by previous guests. While we understand it’s a budget-friendly, 2-star motel and adjusted our expectations, these issues were a bit disappointing.
On the positive side, the hot tub was a great bonus, and the ice-cold drinking water in the lobby was refreshing. Breakfast is minimal—grab-and-go options like muffins, granola bars, or oatmeal—but the coffee was fantastic!
Overall, it’s a good value for the price, especially in the off-season.

We've made some adjustments to our staff, to put it simply. While we are a 2-star motel, we strive to offer 5-star, clean, and comfortable accommodations for our guests. Fun, unique, artistic, fun staff! Cleanliness questionable. Bathroom could have been cleaner.
