We stayed here as a base to go up and ski at Monarch. This worked out great. The hotel pool was my grand sons favorite. Our rooms were in great shape. And there are many options for dinner or breakfast in town. My wife said the people of Salida were so kind in all the shops she went to.

Good price. We stayed in the King suite with 2 beds and it was better than I was expecting. It was spacious, AC was cold, quiet, and in decent condition.

Compared to the Quality Inn where we just stayed in Pagosa Springs, this place is a palace.

This was a great little hotel. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Breakfast was minimal, but enough for us- the waffle maker was a big hit with my boys and there was always plenty of other food to go around, it was so nice that breakfast was served at 6:30 each morning so we could eat before we skied. Room was basic, but clean and housekeeping was on top of their game each day. The bonus of a coin operated laundry was great ($3.00 a load to wash and dry) and being across from a Walmart was very convenient. The fridge in the room was a larger mini fridge and worked great to store drinks, leftovers and snacks. We will definitely stay here again.

We had the king size room. The shower was very dirty mold on the side of the walls. The staff was very kind trying to make our stay and enjoyable one. But it definitely was a disappointment.
