"This is a beautiful, historic hotel located in an isolated area in the mountains 35 minutes outside of Salerno. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable, but unfortunately for me and my family it was a little too remote for us. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive from Cava de Tirreni and 35-40 minutes from Salerno. I didn’t realize the distance when we booked the hotel. If you’re looking for a location where there are restaurants and shops close by, this might not be the best...

"We have to say the good about this hotel as well as the things we didn’t like! The rooms are very clean! And the ac works very well! We had an excellent meal at the restaurant and loads of buckets of ice from the bar when we needed it! And it’s a good value for the nightly change. But this didn’t feel like a 4 star property at all. The spa was never open, dogs barking at all hours! Waking us up quite early every day. We couldn’t believe that they allowed big barking dogs to stay at this hotel....
