The Hotel Cleunes D'Oleron is a great hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and well equipped. The pool is fabulous and the location is excellent. The staff dealt very very well with COVID restrictions to allow breakfast (which was lovely) to go ahead as normal. Excellent hotel

Good location, bad service
Posted 28 Jul 2020 on HotelsWe stayed for 3 nights and we were surprised by their inflexibility and level of service for a three star hotel.
In addition there is no mini fridge, no towels for the pool and the staff aren’t very accommodating.
On the plus side they have a good location next to the beach.

Only one thing missing was air conditioning in the rooms, as went a little warm for sleeping on 1 or 2 nights otherwise faultless on all fronts

The reception was very helpful in arranging for an early check-in for four rooms. The hotel was modern clean and comfortable, the choice of an express breakfast was great.
The hotel was in a great location for exploring the Island.

Our stay in St Trojan les bains
Posted 19 Aug 2018 on HotelsWe stayed in a comfort sea room. The hotel is one floor (ground). We had a very decent sized balcony with an excellent sea view. The hotel has a very calm feel about it. Breakfast for €12 per person served until 10am was buffet style and DIY boiled eggs. Pool is a good size. Spa facilities are very good with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi pool with jets. Nearby restaurants are in the town harbour (10 min walk), and during August there are fetes everywhere over the island including in St Trojan les bains. The one we went to had an Eclade (mussels cooked under pine needles), hot dogs with merguez sausages, crepe churros and fruit with chocolate stands, a concert and fireworks- great fun! I would sum up the hotel as a tranquil decent place to relax and a good base to explore the island.

Lovely hotel with great service. The family suites are rather compact!
