Convenient and helpful 👍
Posted 23 Jul 2024 on HotelsVery friendly staff, we stayed here because they have EV chargers. Good: They worked, bad: didn't work that well but at least they worked. The hotel was conveniently located for our roadtrip. And the main town was only a few mins away to get some food. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our needs

The room at this hotel was great and the restaurant had great food and nice staff. The hallway lights did not come on at night so we had to walk down a long hallway with cell-phone lights. Reception could have been more pleasant but overall a nice place for one night driving through.

Hotel close to highway, perfect for pit stop. Nice room and clean. Very nice staff.
Breakfast buffet good as well!

A very good hotel for a one-night transit stop
Posted 5 Dec 2021 on HotelsWe had a very pleasant stay at Mont-Blanc Hotel. We will certainly use this hotel again as a transit stop between UK and Italy. The room was a good size with plenty of storage and was definitely a step up from some one-night stop hotels we have used in the past!
I cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not use it. The only slight annoyances was that the heated towel rail did not work and the nearest supermarket for provisions and petrol was not that close, but was easy to get to.

The lack of knowledge that there was no dining facilities in the evening when I had arrived at 17.00

The fact that the restaurant is closed for weekly holidays on Saturdays and Sundays is mentioned on all the online booking sites as well as in our confirmation email. A list of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel that are open on Sunday evenings is available at reception.

It was okay, but nothing special. We arrived at after 8pm so I messaged in advance to ask if we could book a table for dinner. I was told that it stated on the booking confirmation that the restaurant was closed. I didn’t see this anywhere. Luckily there was a restaurant quite nearby but we had to book it ourselves. I was hoping that reception staff at Mont-Blanc would have done it for us. WiFi was also difficult to manage.
And hotel was more expensive than I expected. Including breakfast it came to €122,00. But I suppose all prices have gone up this year because of pandemic.

Great hotel
