This is a beautiful property on the grounds of a chateau in the countryside. Peaceful and lovely, with very friendly owners who speak several languages and are helpful in suggesting sites to visit nearby. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Easy to park our trailer!

Thank you very much Madame Bates for your review. First, I do not understand how you can say that your experience was so bad as you have never slept at this property. You had an overbooking - for which I have excused myself already several times, and instead of canceling your booking last minute, I have offered you an equivalent accomodation at our 17th century château at 5 min. drive. A beautiful appartement with very good reviews since 10 years, twice as spacious as you've booked orginally, with a kitchen and livingroom and still with breakfast delivered. When I asked if everything was fine when I brought you there, no direct feedback from your side. If during your stay anything was not like it was supposed to be, you could always have contacted me. No news. On departure, my personnel chased you as you have forgotten some belongings and were about to leave in your car. You have enjoyed a free late check out as you left 1 hour later. So indeed, our place must have been horrible ;)

Just outside Falaise which is a lovely small town with good restaurants, shops and bars. Stunning castle and cathedral!
Beware the satnav. Our tomtom took us to the wrong place!

Stayed here to break up journey to Brittany. We had originally booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 but we were given the use of a charming, self contained cottage instead, which meant we could all be together. The cottage was full of character, spotlessly clean and had its own private garden.
The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in.
Breakfast was delicious.. fresh bread, croissants, cereal, cheese and ham, and amazing homemade jams.
We were free to explore the beautiful grounds and were made to feel exceptionally welcome, thank you. We are looking forward to our return stay on Saturday!
