Three nights where not enough time, must go back
Posted 19 May 2019 on HotelsThree night in a really nice hotel, good condition and spotlessly clean.
The food was excellent, breakfast and lunch (regretfully we didn’t get a chance to sample the dinner menu).
Couples massage treatment was very good but a little expensive).
The hotel and food was not cheap but worth it.
The hotel is right beside the old town and very conveniently situated and the service is first class.

Our stay. It is a delightful hotel,
Posted 12 Aug 2017 on Hotelsthe staff were warm and friendly. The setting is delightful, it is quiet and very well managed. Breakfast is a treat.ate out locally..there is plenty of choice. If you are looking for busy, lots of shopping and a French version of kiss me quick you will be disappointed

If you want luxury, pay extra for a superior room
Posted 23 Jul 2016 on HotelsThe Villa Augusta is a 4 star hotel in the historic town of St. Paul les Trois Chateaux near the Rhone River south of Valence, France. It is an historic, restored, Roman Villa and has charm, an excellent but expensive restaurant, beautiful pool, free WIFI and very attentive staff, all just a stone's throw from the historic "old town" of St. Paul with a Romanesque cathedral, fountains and culture to see. The hotel grounds are impeccable and it's usually quiet (street repairs were in progress during our stay but only daytimes) and has a country charm but near-town convenience. However, if you want a good, comfortable room, do NOT get the "standard" room because they are either 2 flights up (no elevator) or very Spartan (I am being charitable - ours felt like a dungeon). Other, superior, rooms nearby we saw were lovely so we were jealous - all for a few Euros more. Oh yes, it also has A/C which is important in July/August in this region - even ours had that feature.
