A great place to stay!

A truly wonderful place to stay! Jerome was a very attentive host, cooking us a delicious meal and helping us with planning our trip to Paris. The inn was beautiful and we only wished we could have stayed longer.

A rural gem in quiet location

A little gem near Auxerre. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower provided plenty of hot water. Gerome made us feel like house guests. We had the use of the kitchen to make drinks etc. Gerome cooked for us a meal on both nights with accompanying wines. Excellent.

Jerome is great and what they have built is amazing, and I am rating this against what we paid, where I was between good and average. Unfortunately some areas need some work like the beds and breakfast. If those were improved it would be good. Thank you and all the best. I would recommend for short stay, but any longer and those items really need to improve to be rated Good overall.

Séjour au top au rouge et blanc. Vous vous sentez comme à la maison. Cest quelque chose de rare qu'on ne trouve pas dans les chaînes hôtelières. Je vous conseil dy prendre le dîner, tout est fait avec des produits frais et locaux dans une cuisine familiale très bien préparée. Moi c'est sûr, pour mes prochains déplacements dans la région ça sera le rouge et blanc !

De ontvangst was erg fijn, een zeer enthousiaste en hulpvaardige gastheer Jerome. De kamer is ruim genoeg (trapje omhoog heeft voldoende leuningen), smaakvol ingericht. Ruim, zonnig terras en zwembad. Hij kookt een prima ‘Bourgondische’ maaltijd, spreekt goed Engels maar doet ook z’n best om langzaam en duidelijk Frans te spreken als je aangeeft dat prettig te vinden. Wijnproeverij met aantrekkelijk geprijsde wijnen. Zeer rustig klein Frans dorpje.

Quel plaisir d’avoir trouvé le gîte de Jérôme pour y passer la nuit sur mon chemin entre Paris et Genève, En quelque minutes de conduite a l’ouest de l’A6, on se retrouve dans un hameau charmant de Bourgogne et Jérôme m’a reçu chaleureusement dans le gîte qu’il a conçu et construit. La chambre était parfaitement conçue, décorée avec goût, une salle douche de quoi se relaxer, enfin pour y passer une bonne nuit de repos avant de reprendre la route. Sans oublier le petit déjeuner créé pour satisfaire à mon régime alimentaire personnel. Un seul regret de ne pas y être rester plus longtemps pour me relaxer dans le jacuzzi et sauna, mais suffisamment de temps pour que Jérôme me convainque de prendre avec moi quelques bouteilles de vin de Gascogne la région dont il est originaire. Merci Jérôme pour ton accueil et hospitalité.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable : accueil très sympathique, chambre et installations très propres. L’espace Les Clos est parfait pour une petite étape (famille 2 enfants bas âge). La piscine et le jacuzzi sont un réel plus. La formule table d’hôte est très sympa, pour un très bon rapport qualité -prix. Nourriture de qualité servie généreusement. Recommandé !😊
