"It's a hotel. In a castle. It's brilliant. We extended our journey so that we could get to spend the night in a castle. Pleased with our decision. Staff were great - they put up with my Franglais and we managed to communicate fine. Food - excellent. REALLY good kitchen, and we enjoyed a well priced, high quality evening meal. "On our penultimate day of a short jaunt through the Ardennes, we had an enjoyable time in Montherme, visiting the Roc la Tour also know as the Castle of the Devil! There was no chance of taking a boat trip on the river as everything seemed to have closed down, which was a shame as the boat was moored there and the timetable suggested it should have been going."
