Great holiday!
Posted 5 Feb 2023 on HotelsThis is a very small hotel, about 30 rooms, right at the foot of the ski slopes, with stunning views all round. Stayed there for a weeks skiing with a friend (the skiing is great there). The staff were all lovely, really helpful, hotel spotless, beautiful lounge and terrace, comfy dining room with log burner, and bar on the end of the hotel. Rooms a bit shabby but I guess they are doing the place up gradually. Very clean and comfortable though, great bed, and plenty of hot water. I stayed in a Superior room which was very spacious and had a balcony to sit out on, overlooking the slopes. I very much enjoyed the food: good variety at breakfast. The evening menu is quite short but they change the fish and meat option every day so there is plenty of variety, and everything I had was delicious. Very good drinks menu, if I have one criticism I would have liked a cheaper local wine option. We were very happy overall with what the hotel offered but should say that Le Bettex is a tiny hamlet, and the shops and bars there are only open during the day / early evening. This means if you want to eat elsewhere you really need a car, as there is nowhere else within walking distance at night. Also, because of the hotel location, you need to walk quite a way from their car park to the hotel with your luggage. These are not criticisms, just what you get if you want a ski in/out hotel. I loved my stay there and will certainly return if I get the chance.

Great location, just a little rough round the edges. I would still recommend due to the location.

Total Convenience
Posted 20 Feb 2016
Pros: We were especially pleased with the staff kindly leaving us a plated dinner when we arrived about midnight having suffered a diversion to our flight.
Cons: Decor is slightly tired and at night there are some strange noises going on (heating?) but nothing to complain about.
Location: Perfect base for a ski holiday.
Hotel Arbios Bettex offers the perfect platform for your skiing holiday. Lifts, slopes, ski hire, ski school and pass office are all within 50 metres.
Add to that the decent room, excellent breakfasts and dinners, plus very good sized pool and we were delighted with our choice despite it being pretty pricey (it was half term).

Great location, good service, but a little tired
Posted 3 Feb 2016 on HotelsWe paid for the deluxe room as this was the only option open to us through Hotels.com. Whilst the room had a great view and a balcony, it was tired in comparison to the standard rooms our fellow travellers had. that had obviously been updated.
Whole hotel in need of a little tlc, but comfortable and all staff friendly, also really convenient for lifts and ski in/out

Great summer getaway.

Pros: Views, location, locking closet. Breakfast menu a la cart and buffet were good and reasonably priced for European style breakfast.
Cons: I am sensitive to handicap accessibility, which this hotel does not have.
Location: Great views of the alps and a nice village nearby for shopping.
This hotel is a ski resort primarily, but it is nicely set up for the summer as well, with a great swimming pool and country walks. --And spectacular views of the French Alps. Not handicap accessible for those who can't climb stairs. There is a great ski-lift/gondola ride for the skiers, which offers great views in the summer as well. This lift can also take you down to the town town center for shopping and dining. You definitely need a good up-to-date GPS if you are driving. It is hard to find otherwise.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for taking your time to share your experience with us. The GPS update isn't mandatory, since the location is very well indicated if you follow the road pannels for the Le Bettex, which we do advise all our customers by e-mail prior to their arrival. We're very glad you've enjoyed your stay with us and we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again. Best regards,
