Clean and easy

The hotel was fine - someone was there to check us in though we had been sent a code. The room was tidy and clean. The breakfast was simple but perfectly acceptable. Only down side was the couple having a screaming row outside our window for what seemed like an hour but there was no one around to ask them to stop as they would not stop when we asked

Ideal stopover for Caen ferry port.

Good location, clean room, free WiFi. Friendly reception. Only negative room was too hot, cold heater did not work. If you opened window road noise would prevent sleep.

Budget hotel but comfy stay.

Room was fine for 2 adults and child. Clean room and comfy bed. Pillows too soft for us, so I folded mine in half to make it thicker :) Only downside was the small shower cubicle but that's standard for these budget hotels. No coffee making facility but there is a coffee machine in reception as well as a microwave. You will find a supermarket 2 mins walk away if you want to get yourself food and drink, and there is a bakery/cafe inside there. A restaurant is nearby as well. Free parking was a plus for us, and free wifi was great with a strong signal. Park less than 10 mins way away along with the Memorial de Caen. Overall not bad for the price.

It is true to its name, budget. For an overnight stay to break up a long journey it’s perfect but don’t expect anything more than a bed, shower and toilet. There isn’t a kettle in the room either but a vending machine is available at reception if you want a hot drink.

Good location for visiting Caen Old Town and the Memorial. Facilities in walking distance e.g. supermarket/ restaurant. Staff helpful. Very clean facilities and hotel offers what you would expect for the money. Would stay again.
