"This place is absolutely beautiful and is in a very lively part of town, which is part of its charm. The only real "issue" we had was that the water would go from freezing cold to scolding hot while you're in the shower and it got my back pretty good! Parking is about a 10 minute walk away in a place called the Prinz Gregor hotel and if you get the mountain view room (which faces the front of the hotel with a balcony) there can be a bit of noise since we were directly in front of the main town...

"The apartment is beautiful. Just like in the pictures. It's close to the old town, so lot of shops are available with a short walk. Parking can be difficult during the day, but we found it was like that anywhere close to the old town. After 8 pm more paking spots become available close to the flat. I would recommend this flat and would come back."

"The apartment was easy to find near the Black Church. Parking not so easy on a Saturday, but we were able to unload right outside the apt so it was an easy walk back. The studio is fairly basic but more than adequate for a couple of nights. You are only 3 minutes walk from the main square in old town. Communication by WhatsApp was easy and prompt."

"We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. The kitchen has a stove and microwave, but not much in the way of pots/pans or crockery so it's not great for cooking your own meals. The...

"On arrival the restaurant was closed and upon asking the receptionist o was told there is no restaurant near by . The room was never cleaned and dirty towel was put back on the rail. Room was noisy at tines with main villa door being shut and people coming in and out also dog being left in next door room. The restaurant staff didn’t speak English. I ordered some food and I was offered microwave chicken and raw fish where I ordered a glass of wine , I was only offered a full bottle. Upon asking...

"We had a very good time. The property managers were very helpful. We arrived after the office closed, but we were able to get into the apartment. The apartment is very modern and comfortable. The location is perfect near all the stores and food you can think of. "

"great location on the edge of the Old City plaza however the sofa bed was NOT comfortable and basic repairs could have been done. door was hard to lock and toilet seat was not screwed in place properly and very wobbly. Main bed was comfortable according to my roommate. Did have a washing machine which was great though I didn't need to use it for the night we were there. "

"Simply tragic: The kitchen smelled of gas from the cookstove (don't light a candle there!). Traffic along the main road made it impossible to sleep at night (trucks, etc.). The shower was more like a garden sprinkler way past its expiration date. Internet was non-existent. "Nice place, cozy, big room and bathroom, free parking on site, but.. the receptionist had some issues! First, she was very upset about the internet speed that she had to work with (not my problem!), then she asked me how I would like to pay (everything was already paid for since the reservation was made!) and top of all was in the morning when she told me she had to wait for 20 minutes because I was late for breakfast (what else beside smoking and drinking coffee did she have to do, anyway?)"

"In few words: Exceptional staff managing an exceptional hotel. In more words: Customer service fit for a 7 star hotel on par with dubai's finest, from the check-in, manager and Director, i was shocked to find this in Romania where customer service is more on the lacking part. Amazing

"The hotel is built at the highest level of quality and comfort. Very nice design, nice colours. The stuff is very helpful, always willing to help, always smilly and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. The spa is amazing with unique jacuzzi, very nice dry and wet sauna and a salt space. I had only a few things a liked less. The gym and the bowling had access to public, so it was not comfort to be there. The spa had an intense clorium smell from the swimming pool. The prices of the massage and the playstation area are relatively high"

Nice Spot

"This hotel is historic and has cool details, and is located very close to the old town square. The bathroom was clean, the breakfast buffet was ample, the hotel is pet-friendly, which is a bonus for me, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you forget to reserve parking at the hotel in advance, there's a Regina Maria parking garage 10 mins walk away. My only negative was that the bed wasn't the most plush...it was just a thin mattress. But I was exhausted and slept fine regardless. "
