The facilities are new and very clean. Place is cozy. Check in was not easy. You must have a car to go from the place where you pick up the keys to the room. We got there late at night and picked up the keys in a green box in a parking lot. We got lost while looking for the room, road and access to the building were not clear, there was at least one foot of snow. Definitely not a walkable distance to do with luggage, children or seniors.

Lovely traditional log cabin.
Posted 19 Feb 2018We stayed at Kuukkeli Porakka for a week in feb. We were looking for a log cabin that was close to everything in the village, with great access to thr national park, and this was it. The shered bathroom was a slight worry, but it was clean and we could always use it when we wanted, it wasn't too busy. The room was comfy and quiet. For thr money it was perfect.

No one there
Posted 14 Oct 2017Please refund our money. We turned up to the lodge with our 2 young children. It was cold and getting late. We knocked, nobody was there. We called, nobody answered. Had to find other accomodation :(

Siisti ja rauhallinen paikka. Sama huone oli vaan varattu kahdelle eri ryhmälle. Selitystä siihen en saanut vaikka asiaa tiedustelin.

Posted 7 Mar 2023 on HotelsO local é muito querido e acolhedor. O quarto é mais pequeno do que aquilo que parece nas fotos, mas a cozinha e sala são grandes. Poderia existir mais um local de duche, uma vez que só existe um para mulheres e outro para homens. O pequeno almoço é soberbo, só é pena que fique a cerca de 15 min a pé do alojamento e que só abra às 8h30 da manhã.
