This hotel has been a excelled choice for many years and I will return again. great skiing, dinning, bar, drinks, all the little details are amaising, great staff.

We owe an extreme debt of gratitude to the Golfhotel. Had it not been such a poor experience, we would never have fled early to experience our world-class hotel in Lausanne, where we stayed for the same price or less! This hotel was way overpriced. We were "nickeled and dimed" for many things. Accommodations were 1/2 mile walk from main hotel and restaurant. Most of the guests are 3-generation families, so there are tons of kids. Unsupervised children were running around all over the hotel at all times of day and night. Food was way overpriced, average at best and inedible at worst. They could not even cook a simple hamburger properly. Entrees arrived over one hour after ordering. Service very slow, unapologetic. Very poor management of both hotel and restaurant. Unwilling to accept criticism. Hotel in poor location, it is not in the village of Gstaad, it is in Saanenmoser where there is nothing else to do. We would not return to this hotel for any reason. This hotel charges world-class prices, but it is no world-class hotel!

It seems that our hotel was just not the rigth choice for you since no only the hotel but alos the village, skiresort etc. was not good enoguht. Absolutely lovely in every way -- Clean, pretty and quiet -- excellent food and fast wifi. Perfect for a break -- or holiday -- recommend frequently.

Rude management!

We asked for a different room because the one we received was very far away in annexed building. The changed our room to the main one. Upon checkout, the price they demanded was double the price of the room we booked. The manager was horrible to us. Argued with us telling us we were told this, but we were not. I would never agree to a room that was more than double the price of our booking. It was a horrible experience at the front desk. The manager was rude beyond comprehension. Finally charged us correctly, but with undue aggravation. Will never stay there again.
