"The room we booked and paid for we did not get, the room was comfortable and nice enough but the first night was extremely noisy as their was a bus load of very inconsiderate people. Lots of construction going on around the hotel. Not the greatest stay we have had in Vietnam"

"Aliana is close yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main town (10 minute walk). The rooms were spacious with amazing views of the mountains (including Fansipan). Pool was a lovely addition after trekking up Fansipan or through local villages. We left slightly bemused after being charged for a dirty towel, but other than that would recommend. "

"Stay was so-so. Room wasn’t very clean when I arrived - sink was not cleaned and had hair/toothpaste stains, there was garbage in the garbage can. You could plug in either the tv or the fridge but not both! The reception was usually empty, and often the lights would be off and you would have to feel your way to the stairs. "Beautiful hotel. Close to city centre. Easily able to walk to most places. Clean tidy rooms. They did lose our laundry but found it eventually "

"I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is a family run hotel and they staff were so helpful. They let us in when we arrived past 1am in the morning. The room was clean and spacious with comfy beds and was nicely decorated. The following morning, the staff went through a map with us and offered suggestions for restaurants, coffee, places to see in Sa Pa and what walks to do. They also helped us book a tour and taxi. Felt really looked after during our stay and would love to stay here again. "
