Cons - outdated furniture. -the pillows smelt old too - always hosting different meetings. Wasnt really a problem for us because we were out all the time, but most of the restaurants would be blocked off for conferences alot while we were there -alot of lizards and other bugs and critters around -the resort photographers were terrible. "Really enjoyed my stay at Paradox, the staff are really nice and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and nice and close to the beach...with the size of the place it was still peaceful and quiet, the Coconut pool always had a free lounger and again was nice and quiet...breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty, and offered different dishes every day...the place uses an app to keep you informed of various activities going on which was really great, would absolutely stay here again..."

"It was a property where we could truly experience the renowned reputation of Banyan Tree, and the accommodation we stayed in satisfied every member of our family. The friendly service of the staff left a lasting impression. One thing to note is that I had read in several blog reviews that, when choosing a dinner course at the Saffron restaurant, there would be options for appetizers or desserts. However, on the day of our visit, only a fixed menu was served. I wasn’t aware that this had changed....

"The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. We stayed at Amari for our honeymoon and the Amari team went above and beyond for us. The breakfast in the morning is absolutely delicious! The location is perfect to walk to the beach, Bangla road and other bars and restaurants. The only negative is that the hotel is not the easiest to walk around due to steep hills but if you call reception they will send a buggy to transfer you around the complex. Would definitely...

"This is a beautiful resort. The beach is across the street from the resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast options were many and all delicious. The room service was 24 hrs and very convenient. I would stay here again."

"I enjoyed my 4-day stay here so much, i extended my stay for 6 extra days. The restaurant upstairs has great food and makes great alcoholic drinks. The view from the pool area is great. Theres bikes to rent on the property. The rooms are beautiful and you can use their app to schedule full hotel room cleaning service which includes vacuuming and mop. "We stayed here for 4 days. The room was big and clean, the staff provided amenities such as water upon check-in. Great walkable location close to beach as well as boardwalk. The staff here were very helpful with any questions we had. Also, motorbike rental directly in front of the hotel was quite convenient "

"We loved our stay at the Mandarava. We had a free room upgrade on arrival- Coral grand deluxe room which was beautiful looking out onto the coconut pool. The resort its self was beautiful, very clean, several pools so they were never too busy. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and was very tasty- the drinks were very good! They allowed me to take some food back for my partner who was not feeling well one day. The gym is well equipped for a hotel with dumbbells and machines. The only negative would be the price of drinks and for dinners/lunches at the hotel are extortionate compared to if you go into town so we tended to go into town for food and drink."

"One night before we flew back to Bangkok. They made sure our rooms were close together, they were super efficient at the front desk and all the staff performed their duties in a professional manner. Located on the beach, 10 minutes from the airport you can’t beat this place if you need to catch an early flight the next morning. "

"Check in was a nightmare my room was not ready I waited over 2 hours and I was given a room I didn’t choose. My room didn’t have towels it took them 2 hours to bring any. I would call the lobby 2-3 times no answer I wouldn’t stay here again "
