Watch seals play with their trainers, sharks swim above your head and dolphins jump out of the water at this award-winning marine park.

Discover the array of creatures that live below the surface of the ocean at Underwater World SEA LIFE Mooloolaba. This indoor marine park has 16 themed zones and habitats, from Jellyfish Kingdom to Seal Island. Walk through a tunnel surrounded by deadly sharks and colourful fish. You can touch starfish and other friendly creatures in a shallow pool. Watch your favourite animals being fed and seals interact with their trainers.

You’ll need at least 2 hours to see everything SEA LIFE Mooloolaba has to offer. Children and adults alike can enjoy the informative displays, with each colourful habitat well sign-posted.

Pick up a map from the entrance. Make sure you ask about feed times, so you can visit your favourite animals when they’re being fed throughout the day. Attend one of the many talks and shows held every hour, including the popular Showtime at Seal Island. Watch as the cheeky seals play with their trainers and do tricks for the crowds. The presentations have a focus on conservation and are educational as well as fun.

Don’t miss the chance to walk beneath eight species of shark as they swim through the waters all around you. The Ocean Walkthrough is an underwater tunnel that’s split into zones. Wander through Shark Shipwreck, Coral Cove, Turtle Temple and Bay of Rays.

See otters, crocodiles and vibrant clown fish among the thousands of other species on display.

Enjoy a meal or light snack from the on-site café. Two gift shops are packed with souvenirs such as T-shirts, toys and postcards.

Underwater World SEA LIFE Mooloolaba is located on the southern end of the Mooloolaba Esplanade, a 2-minute walk from Main Beach. There is free on-site parking.

The marine park is open every day except Christmas Day. There’s a fee to enter. Book online in advance for discounts or buy tickets from the entrance on the day. Ask for a stamp on your way in so you can come and go throughout the day.
