"This property is such a gem. It is better than the pictures. The room was quiet and clean, with superised nice ocean view. The breakfast was super. It has a nice restaurant. I believe eating lunch or dinner here will also be very nice. Highly recommended."

"Be aware that this is a residential property without your own entrance. It is in a shabby and unsafe feeling part of town and the pictures are not representative of the property at all. Owners uncontactable in any way. As a single traveller, I did not stay here as i felt very unsafe on arrival. Expedia are yet to support me in the process and i ended up paying for a second property."

"Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! "

"The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area."

"Property was in a good location, fridge was small and WiFi was disconnected during my stay. Otherwise everything else was ok."

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. The sweeping garden was a great place to chill out by the bank of the river as well as the delightful heated pool which was used many times during our stay! "Our room was very clean. Check in was very smooth. You have to register your vehicle at check in to get parking. I myself am coeliac ,and the staff in the resteraunt were absolutely brilliant. They went out of there way to give me all my gluten free food for breakfast. Will definitely be staying there when I need somewhere to stay in that area . "

"Receptionist was lovely and friendly, I arrived earlier than check in but it wasn't a problem and I received a free upgrade to my room. Received a discount voucher for the restaurant next door, and if was lovely! Breakfast was delivered to my room in the morning. Great little hotel and I'll definitely book again if I'm in the area "
