Saying we loved the hotel is an understatement! From the moment we walked in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean, with beautiful views, and comfortable beds. The pool was super relaxing due to it being heated and the jacuzzi was perfect temperature, we definitely didn’t want to get out. Breakfast was amazing! Never had gone somewhere with so much variety. You had the regular eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, etc. You also have pancakes, fresh made omelets to your liking, fresh fruit, and they even had red posole. Let me just say, I am very picky with Mexican dishes but it definitely didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious, wish I could have eaten more! We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely be going back.

Our room was not clean. The fire place didn’t work and we called for service and no one ever came. The room was very old and run down. The entry door was falling off the hinges it would hardly close. The bedroom door was held open by the cable cord to the TV. We were greatly disappointed and will not be going back.

Really special place in an exceptional, vacation town. Beautiful setting surrounded by the golf course and mountains. Spent three nights and could not have been happier. Drove to town on the first morning and saw wild horses grazing along the road. Came back to the hotel on the second day and saw elk on the golf course.

The name, “Elegant” incapsulates this Hotel. The room was clean, fresh and inviting. Cameras noted in all key areas promoting a secure environment. The pool/spa room is huge, clean with warm water. Several large gas grills with fireplaces in back and a central fire pit with enough room for all. An approx 2 mile walking path, Elk bugling. Breakfast buffet with enough choices for even the pickiest of diners with made to order omelettes. A small full bar, a gift shop and an abundance of leather chairs in the lobby. The bad: Wi-Fi seemed spotty at times, speed check showed about 11-15 mbs. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool, however I did not like waiting and asking more than once to be let into the pool room. I did not like having a “Monitor” aka Babysitter sit there as I used the jacuzzi/pool area. I’m a grown-assed man of 55. I have a professional job and know how to act appropriately in a pool area, let me swim in peace and not to be made to feel intimidated by having to ask permission to use an amenity.
