"We visited this hotel for 2 nights in December for a Christmas markets trip with our 2 young children. It is a 10 minute walk from the central station and cathedral and the area is very quiet. We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel very early for check in. "I quite liked this place for the price. Location could NOT have been better!!! It was such a perfect location! Staff was amazing and so helpful!! There was a tinnny elevator which was so helpful to get the luggage to the room. It was clean, and beds pretty comfortable. My sons bed was more comfortable then mine, mine had a weird lump/roll in the middle. It was verrrrry hot to sleep here. No ac as most places in Germany. "I booked this hotel on a random trip to Bochum. The hotel is at the centre of all the tapas bars so it is great if you want to enjoy the night life. The hospitality is top noch and despite the fact that I couldn’t speak a word in German the staff were happy to speak in English (I promise I will learn the basics before the next trip). The room is unique and spacious and the double glazing helps with dampening the noise from the bars (not that it mattered to me). All in all I highly recommend this...
