"This was the place to be for a relaxing short break in Tuscany. We stayed for two nights in this little borgo ( medieval village), surrounded by a few houses and a church. The place is in the middle of nowhere, just like we wanted! The room was modern and had all we needed. I booked a Luxury Room, Balcony, Courtyard View. "Amazing room, had a small kitchen and extra blankets. Very cozy! Great view of the Piazza Grande. They offer Chianti wine tastings and truffle products downstairs. Loved my time here, great location for the Christmas markets!"

"This is a beautiful, but old building, with spacious rooms, a and high ceilings. But it is dark. Only one window that does not let in much light. So used our lights a lot. The property is in Trastevere, which is popular and busy, but our room was really quiet. The front desk/proprietor was extremely helpful in making a restaurant reservation and booking a car to the airport."

"The manager Ada was amazing. We had fabulous communication from her, great restaurant ideas, she helped us with parking and the rental car. The property is very conveniently located. I would definitely stay there again."

"Nice, clean room with updated features. The shower is small with just a curtain and the sink was draining slow. But a nice place of overnight, especially for the price. WARNING: there are limited hours when you can get in so make sure you check on when someone is there to provide access."

"The host is excellent, the property is wonderful, spacious parking for six vehicles inside an anient iron and brick fence, ancient house with gorgeous and spacious interior, high ceilings, balcony with a spectacular view of the Tuscany countryside, and a fourteen minute drive from paid parking in the historic city center of Siena. Unbelievably, incredibly wonderful place! Wish I could have stayed for longer. "

"Mainly groups from Germany stay in the hotel snd sometimes they ate noisy. Stuff very friendly, food is great. "

"It felt like motel next to a highway. Reception closes at 7pm so I was a bit rushed to check in quickly. After that the lights are switched off and the hotel basically becomes dark - just like the surroundings. Off season most restaurants are closed. The room was generally clean but there were little blood stains and spots on the bed linen. The duvet was simply covered by bed linen and it did not feel very hygienic. Generally I expected more from the property given excellent rankings but...

"The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing. It was super accessible to everything. Also, the parking options were great - highly recommend. They're so responsive through texting and it was great to have this level of service. Highly rec! "
