Posted 10 Apr 2018 on HotelsTerrible stay in a place that comes from 1970s, where they charge for towels, sheets, toilet paper and cleaning. This place is located on a cliff with nothing around. No shops, no restaurants no shops no cafes. There’s no shuttle as indicated, there’s a bus that comes every 30 min that stops in a middle of a highway with no bus stop indicator You have to guess where it stops in the middle of dangerous road. The rooms are terribly furnished and dated. There are no toiletries in the bathroom. Bring your own. The only good thing about the room is the view. But there’s only so long you can look at it on an empty stomach They offer no coffee, no tea in the room. Again, no food stores where you can get coffee nearby. The nearest store is 30 min walking

Mrs Anastasia , although we are sorry that you haven't enjoyed your stay in Golfe Bleu we would like to specify some important details in relation with your complaints. Our residence is from 1983 not 1970 and we endeavour to provide the best maintenance and cleaning for our guests. Just at the exit of the residence there is bus N° 18 going to Menton ; the bus N° 100 regular bus to Nice and to Menton on the other side as well as bus N° 100 direct bus to Nice Airport are on the walkside and there is a pedestrian crossing to reach the bus stop. Underneeth the residence there is the railway station that you can reach by 10 minutes walking. Little soap and shower gel are provided upon arrival in the bathroom. In each unit there is a room service brochure : you can order with home delivery pizzas, oriental and vietnam cuisine as well as there are two supermarkets that make home delivery to Golfe Bleu. Just a phone call is necessary. Tea is offered at the reception ; coffee, capuccino , chocolate/milk at the reception for 1,00 Euro or 1,50 Euros. Outside there is a hot and cold drinks distributor from 0,60 cts as well as sweeties. Concerning sheets and towels, we would like to remind that we are a self catering apartment residence (not hotel rooms) and we leave the choice to rent or not the bed linen in order to propose a competitive price . Yes we are in a quiet area with no shops around and that also makes the atmosphere that most customers do appreciate with a breathtaking sea view. Anyway we always take into consideration all comments from each customers and we will endeavour to make residence more attractive. With kind regards from Reservations Dept

Not friendly, arrogant, overpriced with no service
Posted 5 Apr 2018 on HotelsThe location is in the middle of nowhere. If you don’t have a car of your own, dont even think about this place. Public transportation is a pain in this area to go to monte carlo.
Also, they told us to leave the room decently clean when we check out, which we did. However they made us clean the floors and bathroom floors and threatened to charge us €30 if we didn’t. The reception is hardly ever open, I dont know what they do if they can’t run a reception open throughout the day so its easier for us to reach for any help at anytime.

Kind attention of Gehna , we are sorry that for you choosing the Golfe Bleu was not of your taste. In response to your complaint we could say that "the middle of nowhere" is a little and historical little town in a beautiful bay of Côte d'Azur and a lot of customers all world throughout do appreciate it. Our town endeavour to keep the authenticity of the site and the Golfe Bleu is situated in a quiet area facing the sea and Monaco bay. Public transportations provide a regular bus from Menton to Nice, via Roquebrune-cap-Martin and Monaco and viceversa, every 20/25 minutes : the bus STOP is far 5 minutes walking from the residence. There is also a connecting bus to Menton at the exit of the residence (N° 18) every hour. Also the railway station is situated underneath the residence. Having a car is better, as everywhere else for persons who prefer to be totally free for time. As per our rules, which are stated in the reservation website : as it is a self catering apartments residence and not a hotel, customers are kindly requested to leave the unit tidy up. We dont specifically ask to clean deeply everything but to leave the unit correct. Our reception is open 7/7 morning from 8.30 to 12.15 and afternoon from 15.00 or 15.30 (16.00 week-end) to 18.00 or 18.30 and 19.15 during week-end. In each unit there are a "room service brochure" and an information brochure to help residents to organize their holiday. You can get home delivery food, home delivery grocery shopping. It is always a shame to get negative feedback but we just wanted to give some more explanations relatively to your complaints. With best regards

Siamo stati in 7 nel residence per 6 notti, struttura molto confortevole, ci siamo divertiti e rilassati molto. Il mare è a 5 minuti a piedi, con accesso ad una spiaggia poco affollata e calma. La piscina, all'interno del residence, è facilmente raggiungibile e perfetta per famiglie. La consigliamo molto.
