I went out on a limb leaving Manhattan to try this island location in East River. F Train and Tram (how fun too) make it one stop to upper east side (Bloomingdale’s)! Hotel room are spacious and views are spectacular. Very quiet little residential area and Cornell Tech, Roosevelt athletic club. No restaurants or good coffee on island (Starbucks if you can swallow that crap) … Wendy at front desk was fantastic. I’ll be back.

It was great being so close to the big city but with a little seclusion from constant big city activity. Aerial tram to Manhattan was a few minute walk away and subway was only another 2 minutes. Will be staying here again next time back to NYC
