Great location to get to/from FCO
Posted 8 Aug 2024 on HotelsThis is the perfect place for a quick layover in Rome. It's just across the street from the train station. It allows easy transportation to/from FCO airport.
The place is not huge but is recently renovated.
For a short stay in Rome I would book it agian

This place is super convenient, literally right across the street from the train station. The room was clean, but simple. The host was on site when we were there to check us in and there is also breakfast available.

Horrible property!
Stay away from it! We booked it for one night and didn't stay due to concerns for our safety and the lack of cleaning in the property.
When we arrived, used the intercom and an impatient person answered saying the key to our room was at the door (very strange). He opened the gates. Observation after entering the 1st gate: rat traps. We entered the 2nd gate and had no idea where we were as the place is poorly lit and there’s no signs. Took an old elevator and had to guess that the room is on the 2nd floor. Another gate to enter what is supposedly the "hotel". Side note here: what to do if one of those fobs/keys do not open one of those gates and you are in between them?
Once in the room, noticed the floor overused and sheets had stains and hair. The only thought was that we needed to get out of there. The room was very hot (although property info on Expedia says it has AC. Don’t know. Didn’t look for a button to turn it on). The property info also says the walls are soundproof. We heard dog barking and voices from other people somewhere.
Property owner/manager responds to those criticism blaming the person commenting. One traveler mentioned a similar experience, and owner/manager said, since the person didn’t stay in the hotel, the comments are not valid. Well, we didn’t stay, but saw what this place is. We saw the terrible condition. Even if it was free, this place is not worth it!
Finally, I am shocked that Expedia has such tourist trap on its site.

Well what can I say read other reviews and don't be fooled, this gentleman has described the reality and quality of the structure in the most complete falsehood.First of all, he didn't stay in our facility, everything he wrote would be worthy of a lawsuit. Cancellation on the same day of booking was not possible due to condition. So he made it all up, how sad to get to this point for not having given in to his blackmail. However, in my beautiful modern and innovative structure, there are no mice, there are no dogs in the sense that animals are not allowed, there is no hair, the floor is real parquet and everything is really very clean, everyone says so... but To be honest, I have never received a criticism regarding cleanliness, there is no danger. We have a sophisticated hot/cold floor system with dehumidification, unique in its kind, fresh without air movement with automatic regulation, not comparable to any air split. We are in an enviable position, close to the two subways A and B, all the buses to the airports and the Leonardo Express train, and the tourist bus, leave in front of our facility and there are three signs up to the entrance of the facility. The structure is brand new and the exterior of the facade was completely renovated last year, we have an excellent score with over 1000 reviews on all sites, our average is very high, as the other guests who have stayed say so. We will not be intimidated by this unfair review.I would like to point out another detail that we became aware of, you subsequently stayed at the Repubblica hotel in Rome, I invite everyone to see this hotel, it is exactly the same as the distorted description on my structure (horrible facade, old lift, bathroom furnishings, very old rooms ), and I was amazed, I won't say anything else.

This was ok, very simple, small. Yes it was bery clean. Reading other reviews, that seems to ne the consensus. But shouldn't that just be the minimum acceptable standard? And proximity to Termini train station. Ok, but so is another 50 hotels. So this is over-priced. Yes, it's Rome and Rome is awesome. But so is New York, Chicago, Madrid and for the price, hotel rooms would be much better, much much better in these other great cities. So overall, I recommend against this hotel. Also, door locks were the most troublesome I have seen anywhere in my many, many travels all over the world. We slept with door unlocked , even this PhD couldnt figure it out. No staff present after hours, no lonny, everytjinh very, very tiny.

Dear guesthonestly your criticism is based on nothing and on inappropriate comparisons, it would be more correct to compare the structures of a city in a specific period, the price you paid 200 euros in October for a triple room is a very low price for ours typology. The quality factor is based on features that perhaps you missed, we have a cold floor system with dehumidification instead of air conditioning.. your room was equipped with an exclusive balcony overlooking the entire street and believe me it's quite a lot, parquet, branded furniture and beds. we offer an excellent breakfast, free water and fruit and we are opposite the entrance to the station and the two Rome subways. Our locks work properly and have a magnet system. But there are also 5-star hotels if you are willing to pay 1500-2000 euros per night in October.Greetings Suite Inn Rome staff

Room was clean and modern. We just needed an one night stay to catch a flight next day so it was and it next to the Rome train terminal which was super convenient. There was nobody to greet us since I thought it was a hotel but we were given email instruction how enter the building and the room. The building brim the outside is a bit worn as it is with most buildings in Rome
But when you go in to the room it’s bright and clean and modern. Would stay here again if I needed a convenient over night stay.
