Staying at Gens Julia was one of the best experiences I've had while traveling, period. The main reason is absolutely the wonderful hosts Ursula and her son, Lorenzo. And although I did not get her name, the woman who cleans and prepares the rooms was also very kind, thoughtful and attentive.
I traveled with my mom, and they made our stay so wonderful. They went above and beyond in welcoming us and giving us information about the surrounding area, including the best ways to get to attractions and what to look out for as tourists. Staying here was one of the major highlights of our trip to Italy, and I can't recommend it enough. The actual rooms are beautifully furnished and clean. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to hit all the main attractions in Rome. There is a kitchen area is that is stocked with food and is available throughout the day, so it really felt like a home away from home. The only difficulty someone may encounter is finding the location - it is located on the 3rd floor of the building, but there is a lift that takes you up. I recommend reaching out to Ursula on Expedia beforehand so that they can prepare for your arrival.

Ursula and her son Lorenzo were very welcoming and kind upon our arrival. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

David and Ursula were amazing. Any little problem was handled quickly and efficiently! Amazing hosts helped us navigate Rome well. Place was clean , spacious and coffee and breakfast good. Highly recommend.

Ursula and her son David are world class hosts. They are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very large and very, very clean. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip. Great location right at a bus stop from which to go anywhere in the city.

I had an amazing stay here, Urszula made check in easy and convenient, the property has a great view, and the location is within walking distance of several hot spots you’ll want to visit!

Ursula is truly one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. From check-in to check-out, she was available for our every need and could not have been more welcoming. The guest house is very conveniently located in the heart of Rome and walkable to all the major sites and attractions. The self service breakfast was fantastic and was very convenient for early mornings on the go. My husband and I loved our stay here and would absolutely recommend!
