Le Laterne was lovely, we really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: the facilities were lovely
Cons: no nothing all fine
Location: The location is ideal if you want to combined visiting the city and having some down time by the beach.
It is lovely, great location just a short bus ride away from the beach, and a train ride to the city.
The breakfast is lovely all nicely provided by the Paula.

Felt right at home!
Posted 22 Sep 2017 on HotelsGreat Bnb! Felt right at home instantly - only complaint was we had a non-smoking room. And we could smell cigarette smoke both nights we stayed, not sure if other guests (or perhaps the owners!) were smoking!

Perfect hostess

Pros: The perfect Italian experience, with the perfect hostess
Cons: Nothing
Location: About 1hour and twenty minutes by train and bus from the City centre. Good public transport, efficient, inexpensive and on time
Beautiful B&B run by a warm and welcoming hostess. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, and you could step out onto a large terrace. There is a lovely garden and superb swimming pool with changing facilities and shower. Nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hostess who made our stay special. The B&B is in between the coast and the city in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a very good restaurant within walking distance. The public transport (trains and bus)to the city is efficient and inexpensive. I would recommend this lovely B&B to all.

Home from home ideal resting place
Posted 3 Aug 2017 on HotelsThis was a real home from home stay. Paula the owner made us feel extremely welcome in her home which had all the comforts you would expect from a good 4* hotel with the added value of a fantastic host and a great pool area almost to yourself most days. Having only 3 bedrooms to hire, means the place is always peaceful and quiet, ideal for those wanting a bit of a retreat and some "me time". I would highly recommend Le Lanterne to anyone wanting a quiet area of Rome for some R&R. Walking distance you have some good Osterias, and restaurants as well as a couple of pizza places for those on a more modest budget. Overall this place is made by the owner who takes great pride and extreme good taste in the way she presents her property as well as breakfast. When around the pool you will also have the company of a very friendly and lively little dog called Bijou that by the end of our stay followed me around like it was ours. So for us, this was the real "home from home" stay.

Mooie B&B in residentiële wijk buiten Rome
