"Location was perfect. Room included balcony with a nice view of the garden and city. The breakfast was an additional charge but was delicious and had various options. The driving there was a bit complicated since google Maps wasn’t updated on streets with construction. However, once we found the hotel, the staff were super helpful in letting us park in front of hotel to unload our luggage and check in and provided us instructions on how to get to the parking outside the city walls. We paid around €7 for 24 hr parking outside the city walls with a mostly flat 10min walk back to the hotel. Luggage storage was available after check out. Overall, great stay! "

"Close to everything like shopping and restaurants. We really appreciated the air conditioning unit over the front door but it was not on when we checked in and it was 85F that day so room was hot and stuffy. Also, we had a corner bigger room so the one air conditioning unit was not enough to cool the whole room down so only the entrance area stayed cool but not where the beds were. Everything else was good though so would still come back and stay again!"

"There are many reasons why this hotel was excellent for our family. The hotel is clean, overall the breakfast is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. I had a situation with my reservation that required some care and Lisa from the front desk went above and beyond to help me and my family. I cannot say enough good things about her and her kindness towards my family. It is employees like here that make all the difference in the world for a guest. She was compassionate and went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. If there is anything you can do to recognize her excellent costumer service skills. Had it not been for her we would have likely not made it to Rothenburg and added extra days to our stay. The hotel staff was also very helpful when I requested an earlier check-in for my additional 2 days at the hotel. I told them that my husband had mobility issues and was feeling ill and that it would be very helpful if he could have access our new room earlier than normal. The young lady at the front desk called the maids and asked them if they could clean the room for us and it was done within an hour. That's what I call, excellent customer service. As it turns out, my husband wound up needing to go back to the hotel room to get the rest he needed. It made all the difference in the world for us for he was in a lot of pain that day. Breakfast was excellent but eggs were ok and wish restaurant food was at a lower price point."

"This is a charming old German hotel. I believe it has been in the same family for many years. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and made sure our stay was good. We were there in March so it was not busy. The breakfast was lovely! We would definitely stay there again! Make sure you do the Night Watchman tour - it was an excellent way to end the day in Rothenburg!"

"Quaint and comfortable accommodations in the historic center of town. Our room was very large and more than adequate for three adults and a teen. Nice breakfast with an incredible view. Reasonable 15 minute walk to the train station. "
