Adequate overnight stay, help yourself breakfast.
Posted 9 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe have stayed at this hotel for over night on a long journey. It is not the same as it was, There used to be an evening meal service aviilable, but not no longer, just for coach parties.
As usual I booked a no smoking room, but last night having already pre-registered on line, give the room key and told the room was no smoking. A notice was left on the bed indicating so, BUT smoking had been prevalent inthe room for sometime. We open the window and turned the fan on to max. By the time of our return from dinner elsewhere, the smell was not so prevalent. I suspect that the room and possibly others had been classified As No Smoking without any attention to the decor which still resting smoke odour.
We would probably use the hotel if making the same family visit journey again, - but then perhaps not!

Could have been better!
Posted 19 May 2024 on HotelsThe male receptionist was in the office talking on the phone visible to us us to him but gave no acknowledgement. When eventually he came to the desk he stayed speaking on the phone. He was far from courteous and gave no information about how to proceed to our using the lift. Really, really could have done better as a receptionist. Otherwise mych of the hotel was as we have come to used to from numerous overnight stays at this IBIS. No evening restaurant or bar service last night either.

Bath room on raised platform very trip hazzard.
Lighting poor. Good place for luggage.
Large window that oopened.
Breakfast 16 euros and very marginal.
