I will start with the positive. Staff was very friendly & helpful (though they could use a little training in solo female travel safety- like not to announce my room number out loud when handing the key card). Otherwise.... upon arrival the room smelled like smoke, the safety lock did not close well, the toilet failed to flush the first time used (just urine- filled to the top of the bowl & never emptied), there was no plug for the bathtub (bathtub WAS nice & brand new looking though had a rough bottom). We mentioned these to the staff who sent maintenance immediately and they fixed it. Pool was murky/green with algae. We did swim a bit since it had a strong chlorine smell and a pool was #1 reason we chose it. Pool towels you get at front desk were smaller than bath towels in the room! Microwave in breakfast area was rusted inside and VERY dirty. (see photo) The room next to ours was also missing a window so anyone could access by crawling through (#112) and we heard noises in that room at night. Highly doubt it was paying guests in there. I travel a LOT and this was one of the worst places I have been to in all my travels. It is NOT the fault of the staff and they are doing their best, but this place seriously needs an overhaul. I am in another hotel tonight (still traveling) and the difference is night & day!! Same price- different state & city.

It was a great stay the pool was open from 9 am-9pm
