Im really not sure how this is an award winning 8.6 star hotel. First, the front desk person was sitting doing something, waited a few minutes before recognizing people were waiting to check in and acted like it was crazy in there but it there were only 2 people and a phone call. Next workers came in off of break smelling like Marijuana. Then there was a rock holding the door open. Our bed sheets needed changed as there was stuff in them when i pulled sheets back, on both beds( they did come right away and chamge them). Rip in the shower curtain, faucet in tub moved like it was about to come off,stain on the ceiling above bed, mold on the bathroom ceiling, bolt coming out of door hinge. At checkout 2 more employees came in out of the laundry room, smelled like Marijuana, and front desk lady didnt have time to talk to myself or another customer she had us lay our cards on the counter. Nothing said otherwise. Would not stay here again. I do have pictures.

This place was immaculate and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was exceptionally clean and the towel animals made me feel like I was at a 5 star hotel or on a cruise. Great location and very well maintained. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I would recommend this motel to anyone. Definitely did not seem like a budget motel.

Staff, Sheri, extremely welcoming and accommodating by phone and in person. I especially appreciated that they used no smelly sprays as I requested due to my allergies. All was great except bed. Head of bed was MUCH lower than foot. I had to remake bed and sleep with my head at foot of bed. Mentioned upon checkout. Hope they follow up.

Cleanest place we have stayed at in a long time. Delicious breakfast with many choices. You can tell the staff at this hotel takes pride in their work as the hotel is definitely kept up.

I have stayed at many places while at Mayo in different price ranges. This is my first stay here and I would return. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable—two basic requirements. Breakfast was good. It had a comfy recliner. Mayo shuttle worked fine. It is an older facility and shows some age but totally adequate for a good price in an area close to where I prefer to do shopping.

Really, for a low-priced hotel it was not bad. I was just surprised given the high ratings, but that isn't the hotel's fault. People wrote about how friendly the staff was, which we didn't experience, and the great breakfast, which we definitely didn't experience. I'd give the breakfast 2 stars out of 5, but it is better than nothing.

Rooms were definitely smaller then pictured question if we really had a queen sized bed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was typical for a Econo Lodge Inn. The whole Lodge was very clean with a staff member in the breakfast area the whole time.
