Pool and hot tub broken with no knowledge or warning while booking, we left a d vooked somewhere else for the night

The room was not clean…I picked this hotel for the pool, which had no water in it… I will not stay there again…

This property advertises amenities which are unavailable at this property. Such as: Indoor Pool and Hot tub, gym/fitness center, hot breakfast included. We booked this accomodation based on the amenities advertised. The property DID have a great breakfast. However, it was hot outside and we wanted to go swimming. Upon check-in, no one mentioned that the swimming pool was closed PERMANENTLY, the property had no hot tub, nor a gym or fitness center. It was not until we had gotten our room key, and went to the elevator, that we found out the pool was closed when we were walking by the indoor pool area, and could see through the windows that the pool was completely drained. When we asked at the front desk when the pool was expected to re-open, they informed us that the pool was permanently closed and had been for quite some time, with no expectations to re-open. They had no idea the property was listed as having these amenities which had never been available at this property. I guess this was the beginning of my NO POOL/NO HOT TUB AT PROPERTY stays, and with no attempt to provide any alternative, refund, switch to another property under the same name close by where the amenities were available at, not even a day resort pass elsewhere, no dollars off the stay, NOTHING. I EVEN CALLED THE PROPERTY BEFORE BOOKING, I WAS ASSURED THESE AMENITIES WERE AVAILABLE, ON THE SAME DAY of CHECK IN (pricing was inflated based on listed amenities which weren't available)

Breakfast was good. Lodging was ok. Needed a walkin shower and got a tub.
