"Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car. "

"Super kind staff in every facet. For us, White 1921 was the best combination of luxury and convenience. Plus the location is very central so there is no need to shuttle around because everything is in walking distance. The breakfast is delicious with some very nice cooked options; and the spa is easy to use. I would absolutely stay here again. "

The hotel manager Julie had offered her sincere help for our logistics to hotel and even we arrived late at hotel, the restaurant manager was provided us a warm welcome with delicious dishes after our long hours drive. Any many locations are small and do not like walk-ins. In fact they are rather rude about walk-ins. You have to book well in advance. "

Don’t be put off!

"Honestly we were a bit concerned reading some of the reviews before our trip but our stay was fine! Reception staff friendly, check in and out process easy. The room was clean and tidied daily, breakfast was good. Nice balcony views. Sauna not working during our stay but other spa facilities were fine. No boot dryers in the ski lockers which would be a good thing to improve on."
