"This property was pretty much what we expected. It was very difficult to find, though, as both Apple Maps and Google Maps have imprecise locations. Also, the signage for the hotel does not match the name on Expedia. Look for PowerGym, and you will find it much easier. Staff was very helpful and accommodating."

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Donna Rosa! Everything was absolutely perfect the room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. The location is peaceful and just a short walk to the beach. The breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and made with care a perfect start to each day. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff: incredibly warm, helpful, and professional. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. "Great hotel and the restaurant was outstanding. High recommend anyone who is looking to take the ferry to Messina the hotel is just a few steps away from the ferry option. Metro is close by for further discovery of the city. Hotel staff willing to assist and recommend. Outstanding crew!"

"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"

"I tried to reached to them a week before my travel to get some information about the transport options to the hotel nobody responded i was already heading towards the hotel when i received an email in italian with useless information. On the day of arrival at reception they told me most of the facilities are closed including the restaurant none of this was mentioned while i made the bookings. The lady at the reception on 23rd around 13:30 while speaking to me in between exchanged words in her language with her staff member and both laughed and passed weird expressions which is very unprofessional and insulting to do to your guests. We went into the room noticed even the basic things are not in the room for a 4 star hotel. Only 2 water bottles in the fridge no kettle no tea bags no iron, Broken cupboards, Ants in the balcony, broken hair dryer, noisy Bed We asked them for extra towels 3 times finally had to get down and ask for 4 time.The AC was blowing air not cooling the room due to this my 1 year old got unwell and had temperature. I requested to make the AC work nothing changed. We went to speak at the reception and when we mentioned our baby is unwell they laughed at us at this moment we realised its a very unsafe place to stay.extremely rude and unprofessional staff worst hotel experience of my life.I had to leave the hotel and make another booking at a different place."

"Once checked in a good stay. Comfortable room and good location. Problem with check in was that I was expected to do it remotely, sending a copy of my passport by WhatsApp, which I declined to do. The person I had been speaking to then contacted his boss who then came round, checked me in properly and was friendly and helpful."
