"Davide is the BEST host, and 6 Stelle is a wonderful, spotless, gorgeous, lovely place to sleep, eat an excellent breakfast, and explore sweet Sulmona. You’re basically sleeping in history right there by the arches. Davide has great recommendations and speaks excellent English. He’s so friendly and cool. The shower, by the way, is great! Stay here!"

"Our two-night stay in Sulmona could not have been better. This six-room hotel, run by two brothers, is modern, clean, convenient to the center, and comfortable (great bed). Breakfast will fit any diet. Heat is more than ample. We asked them to recommend a driver to could take us into the mountains for c. 4 hours, and one of the brothers volunteered for a very fair price. Recommended without qualification."

"Perfect pick for us, convenient, clean, safe, helpful staff. Helped get a taxi to get to Salerno train station. Breakfast included. Beautiful view of river running thru Campagna. Campagna has historical sites which housed Jews during war, but the Italians were kind to the prisoners, which caused some their lives. US bombed Campagna causing deaths to Jews and citizens, but my family realizes it was a stratigic strike. Catacombs under church dating way back. Great Catina there, also pizzaria "

Location is perfect in the middle of town, close and walk-able to the couple of cafes and nearby restaurant. The property is more like a hotel, just without an onsite concierge. Rooms have tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge only. It's very well run and the assistance was excellent through all stages of booking, check-in and for any questions we had. "
