Staff were engaging and cheerful. They were pleased to have guests from usa. Family oriented resort. Very simple accommodation. Very good food with choices that were adequate for my vegetarian diet. Coffee in dining room not so good. Only buffet service.

Great potential; fantastic dinner!

Excellent food at dinner - so good we almost stayed one more night. Great staff. The place is a little dated and it appears the corporate owners are minimizing their investment. Pool and hot tubs are always crowded, so the 27 euro for the spa (sauna/steam room/aromatic shower/ice) kept it from being crowded. That said, it should be mentioned in the hotels.com fine print or description of the property (we were forewarned by other reviews). Wi-fi didn't work (even in the lobby) and it seemed like the staff was well rehearsed at weak excuses about what was probably another cost cutting measure. Skiing at Marmolada is marginal - windy and in the shade - good for on-piste skiers, but the wind destroys the lift-accessible off-piste pretty quickly and it hadn't snowed for a few days when we were there. Checked the block - probably wouldn't make another trip just for Marmolada - but great views from the highest point in the Dolomites.

Our restaurant offers typical local and Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner; with a different menu every day in a weekly rotation.
