I liked that the hotel was out of the noisy area, nice owner . The room was spacious and clean. You can walk less than 1 mile and be at the town

Staff is not very friendly and the property isn’t very good. Bed was very uncomfortable and walking to my room was long and difficult.

I would appreciate if you could tell me moreabout your specific issues so that I can address them.the walk is about 3 minutes and we offer golf cart service. I realize it was a one night stay, maybe you did not have time to enjoy what Xbalanque has to offer.

No plumbing, no door lock, no wifi; scam stay away

First thank you for choosing Xbalanque. I have discussed your issues with my staff and the issues you mentioned were addressed and fixed. There was nothing wrong with the toilet and the door lock we showed you the proper way to lock it. Since you booked with Expedia we could not give a refund because we are not paid until after your departure.They have to approve that. We do have issues with wifi sometime because of the server. We try hard to solve these issues but sometimes it is out of our control.I apologize for any inconvenience you had.

Uninspired rooms in more of a dormitory-like building not by the beach. Limited hot water, and horrible water pressure. Wifi password was nowhere to be found and the phone system wasn't working. Overall it just seemed a bad value and certainly not a luxury experience. The road to the resort was just a series of holes with exposed steel rebar.

Your experience at Xbalanque is not a normal one. I apologize for the inconveniences you had. I have addressed all issues with my staff and these have ben resolved. We describe Elements as a jungle view about 3 minutes from the beach . Our luxury suites are on the beach in Xbalanque suites. We try hard to make your stay a great one but issues do arise that are out of our control. I am sure that if you reported your issues to the staff they would have been addressed.The road has taken a toil due to construction. It is not my private road and all the property owners are jointly starting the repair of the road.

Excellent property, great staff. Some difficulty moving around to town, but staff was great at solving this.
